How to Play Sokoban

Sokoban (推箱子) is a classic box-pushing puzzle. You control a warehouse keeper who must push every box onto a marked goal square. Boxes can only be pushed — never pulled — and only one at a time, so a box shoved into a corner or flat against a wall can become permanently stuck. Clearing each level in the fewest pushes is the mark of a well-planned route.

Strategy & Tips

• Never push a box into a corner unless that corner is a goal — from there it can't be recovered.
• Decide which box goes to which goal before you move; the order in which you fill the goals matters.
• Keep the aisles clear so you can walk around to the correct side of a box before pushing it.
